1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using WhatBox ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App immediately.

2. Description of Service

WhatBox is a third-party utility toolkit providing media editing (Video/Text Cutter), creative styling (Stylish Text, Quote Studio), and messaging shortcuts (Direct Message, Smart Replies, Scheduling).

3. User Conduct & Content Responsibility

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you create, edit, or share through the App.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to use WhatBox to generate or distribute content that is:
    • Illegal, hateful, or promotes violence.
    • Infringing on third-party copyrights or trademarks.
    • Considered "spam" or intended to harass individuals (e.g., misuse of the "Poke" feature).
  • Monitoring: Since WhatBox processes data locally, we do not monitor your content. You assume all legal liability for the messages and media you share.

4. Essential TOC Clauses by Category

4.1. Media Processing (Video & Text Cutter, Status Saver, Cleaner)

User-Initiated Actions: You acknowledge that all media editing, saving, and deletion are initiated by you. WhatBox acts only as a technical tool. We are not liable for the accidental deletion of data via the 'Safe-Cleaner' or for the quality of media processed via the 'Status Cutter'.

4.2. Communication Tools (Direct Message, Schedule, Poke)

Non-Automated Messaging: WhatBox provides shortcuts for messaging. We do not provide 'bulk messaging' or 'automated bot' services. Users are prohibited from using the 'Poke' or 'Schedule' reminders to harass, spam, or disrupt third parties. You agree to comply with the Terms of Service of the destination messaging platform (e.g., WhatsApp).

4.3. Creative Content (Stylish Text, Secret Message, Quote Studio)

User-Generated Content (UGC): WhatBox provides templates and styling tools, but the actual text content is provided by the user. You agree not to generate content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property rights. Secret Message encoding is a novelty feature and should not be relied upon for high-level security or sensitive data protection.

4.4. External Assets (AI Stickers, Fonts, Licensed Icons)

License Restrictions: Stickers and graphic assets provided within the App are for personal, non-commercial use within the App's ecosystem. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or sell raw asset files (stickers, icons, or fonts) hosted by WhatBox.

4.5. Analytics (Smart Links)

Link Usage: By creating a Smart Link, you agree that WhatBox may collect anonymous click metadata (timestamp, country) to provide you with analytics. We reserve the right to disable links that point to malicious, phishing, or illegal websites.

5. Proper Use of Features

  • Stickers: AI-generated stickers are for personal use within messaging apps. You may not extract or sell raw sticker assets.
  • Scheduling & Pokes: These features are manual-trigger notification systems. You agree not to use these features to create "notification storms" or disrupt the performance of a recipient's device.
  • Safe-Cleaner: You acknowledge that you are responsible for the manual selection of files for deletion. WhatBox is not liable for the accidental loss of data resulting from your manual confirmation to delete files.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our Assets: The WhatBox name, logo, UI design, and licensed graphics are the property of WhatBox.
  • Third-Party Marks: WhatsApp™ is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatBox is an independent application and is not affiliated with Meta.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

WhatBox is provided "as is." While we strive for 100% uptime and bug-free performance, we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for any data loss occurring due to app uninstallation or device failure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatBox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

⚠️ Important: WhatBox is not responsible if your account is restricted or banned by third-party platforms (like WhatsApp) due to your usage of the App's features. Users are advised to follow the official community guidelines of all messaging platforms.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate access to server-side features (Smart Links, Stickers) for users who violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
